Two units side by side for a more harmonious overall look

Two XXL outdoor units installed side by side inevitably take up a significant amount of space on a façade or near a terrace. Their technical appearance can quickly draw attention, especially in a carefully designed outdoor area.

The DECOClim XXL lateral double air conditioner cover allows each of the two units to be concealed with its own separate cover while creating visual continuity between them. Unlike the stacked double model without an intermediate separation, this configuration does not create one large shared internal volume: each outdoor unit retains its own cover and its own space, with the two elements simply positioned side by side. It is particularly suitable for making two adjacent outdoor units more discreet and easier to integrate into their surroundings.

Anthracite (RAL 7016) to complement contemporary outdoor spaces

With an XXL double installation, colour plays an important role in the overall visual integration. Anthracite (RAL 7016) naturally complements dark window frames, pergolas, gates, railings and other anthracite metal features.

Against a light-coloured façade, it creates a graphic contrast that works particularly well with contemporary architecture. In surroundings dominated by grey or darker tones, the two covers can instead blend more discreetly into the outdoor design.

The result looks less like two pieces of technical equipment and more like an outdoor air conditioner cover designed as an integral part of the façade.

Maintaining airflow around each outdoor unit

Covering two outdoor units should never mean enclosing them. Each DECOClim cover features a front panel with louvered slats, designed to promote air circulation around the outdoor unit.

A rear offset of at least 7 cm also helps maintain the space required around the equipment. This is where the lateral double configuration has an important advantage: each outdoor unit retains its own volume and its own cover.

This design therefore combines visual integration with proper airflow, an essential consideration when choosing a cover for two air conditioning or heat pump outdoor units.

Protecting two units exposed to outdoor conditions

Outdoor units are exposed to weather, splashes, minor impacts and the everyday hazards of an outdoor environment. Preparing and completing an XXL double installation
