A large double air conditioner cover for the most substantial installations
Two outdoor units installed one above the other can quickly take up a significant amount of space on a façade or terrace. The DECOClim XXL Anthracite double air conditioner cover transforms this highly visible technical installation into a much more cohesive overall structure.
Its stacked configuration is designed to bring both levels together under one consistent cover. Most importantly, the absence of an intermediate panel between the two covers creates a particularly large overall internal volume. This model is therefore suitable for substantial vertical installations with two stacked outdoor units, as well as configurations requiring additional height and available internal space.
An XXL Anthracite air conditioner cover designed for contemporary architecture
Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) allows the cover to become a genuine part of the outdoor design rather than simply trying to make it disappear. This shade works particularly well with anthracite window frames, dark gates and railings, contemporary façades and metal features.
Against a light-coloured wall, it creates a bold graphic contrast. In surroundings already dominated by grey or darker tones, it can instead help the two outdoor units blend more discreetly into their environment.
The result is an outdoor air conditioner cover that visually structures the installation and avoids the cluttered appearance created by two exposed units.
Generous internal space without necessarily resorting to a custom-made solution
An installation outside conventional dimensions often leads to considering a purpose-built enclosure. The DECOClim range has been developed with several sizes and configurations precisely to accommodate a wide variety of installations using modular standard formats.
With its XXL size and two stacked elements with no intermediate separation, this model provides particularly generous capacity. It therefore offers a practical alternative to a custom-made outdoor air conditioner enclosure, while remaining a solution specifically designed for covering air conditioning and heat pump equipment.
If you are unsure which dimensions or configuration to choose, the DECOClim customer service team can help you select the right model. You can also use our online configurator to find the cover model best suited to your installation.
Protecting the units without compromising airflow
A cover designed for two outdoor units must first and foremost take their operating requirements into account. The front and sides of the DECOClim cover feature louvered slats, while a rear offset of at least 7 cm maintains the space required around the installation.
This design aims to maintain proper airflow around the units rather than enclosing them. The cover also provides additional protection against impacts and external hazards while concealing the equipment.
Made from 100% powder-coated aluminium, it is designed to withstand outdoor conditions over time and comes with a 10-year warranty. To prepare your installation correctly, read our guide "How to install an air conditioner cover?"
A modular configuration backed by DECOClim expertise
As a French company and pioneer in air conditioner covers since 2013, DECOClim specialises in covering solutions for air conditioning and heat pump equipment. This expertise makes it possible to offer different sizes and configurations for both conventional installations and larger projects such as this XXL double heat pump cover.
Is your installation positioned away from a wall? An Anthracite XXL aluminium back panel can visually close the rear of each cover. Two back panels are therefore required for this double configuration.
