Integrating two outdoor units without disrupting the harmony of the façade
Two air conditioning outdoor units installed one above the other can quickly become the most visible feature on a façade. The DECOClim XXL double air conditioner cover brings this vertical installation together under one consistent cover rather than leaving both outdoor units exposed.
This configuration consists of two stacked elements with no intermediate separating panel. It therefore provides a particularly large overall internal volume, suitable for substantial installations and equipment requiring additional vertical space. The result is visually more cohesive, even when the technical configuration occupies a significant amount of space.
Light Ivory (RAL 1015), ideal with stone and sand tones
Colour choice becomes particularly important when covering an XXL installation. With its warm, natural shade, Light Ivory (RAL 1015) works particularly well with light stone façades, beige or sand-coloured render, cream walls and terraces featuring mineral tones.
It is also a particularly suitable choice for Mediterranean homes or traditional architecture where pure white could create too strong a contrast. The outdoor air conditioner cover therefore blends more naturally with the building and draws less attention to the technical equipment.
Maximum internal volume thanks to the double configuration
The distinctive feature of this model is not limited to its XXL size. With no intermediate panel between the two elements, the entire available height can be used as one single internal volume.
This design is particularly useful when two outdoor units are stacked or when the installation involves significant dimensional constraints. It makes it possible to find a suitable solution among DECOClim’s standard sizes and different configurations without systematically having to consider a custom-made outdoor air conditioner enclosure.
If you are unsure which dimensions need to be taken into account, the DECOClim customer service team can help you choose the right configuration. You can also use our online configurator to help you identify the size best suited to your installation.
A ventilated cover designed around air conditioning requirements
Concealing two units should never mean enclosing them. The front of the cover features louvered slats designed to promote air circulation, while a rear offset of at least 7 cm maintains the space required around the equipment.
The cover is made from 100% powder-coated aluminium, a material designed for long-lasting outdoor exposure and resistant to both weather conditions and everyday impacts. It also provides the outdoor units with additional protection against direct external hazards.
The model comes with a 10-year warranty. You can also find our installation advice in our article How to install an air conditioner cover?
A finish that adapts to the surroundings of your installation
A French specialist in air conditioner and heat pump covers, DECOClim has been developing solutions adapted to the different requirements of outdoor units since 2013.
If this XXL model is not installed directly against a wall and its rear remains visible, you can add a Light Ivory XXL aluminium back panel to each cover, meaning 2 back panels in total. This provides a more consistent finish when the installation is visible from several angles.
