When depth is the only limiting dimension
Your outdoor unit fits the width and height of your DECOClim cover, but the installation requires greater depth? You do not necessarily need to move to a larger model just to accommodate this one constraint.
The DECOClim +40 cm Light Ivory depth rails allow you to increase the available depth specifically. They are particularly useful for a deep outdoor unit or when the installation configuration requires a greater distance between the wall and the front of the cover.
This depth extension for an air conditioner cover therefore allows the enclosure to be adapted to the actual installation without unnecessarily increasing its other dimensions.
Replace the original adjustment to reach up to +40 cm
A DECOClim aluminium cover is already supplied as standard with depth rails allowing its depth to be adjusted by up to +15 cm. The +40 cm depth rails are designed for configurations where this adjustment range is no longer sufficient.
The principle is simple: the original +15 cm depth rails are removed and replaced with the new +40 cm depth rails. The two systems are not combined.
Each depth rail has a total length of 60 cm: 40 cm provide the depth adjustment, while the remaining 20 cm ensure its support and fixing to the structure of the cover.
Compared with the maximum standard adjustment, this accessory therefore provides up to 25 cm of additional depth. On certain DECOClim sizes, the total depth of the cover can therefore exceed 1.20 m.
Reinforce the fixing as the cover gains depth
The further the structure extends from the wall, the more important the quality of the fixing and the rigidity of the components become. The +40 cm depth rails have therefore been specifically designed for this greater extension.
They are made from 2 mm thick aluminium and feature a reinforced fixing area. A reinforcement plate positioned around the two bolting points also helps strengthen the assembly and limit the risk of twisting.
The depth rail therefore becomes a genuine structural component of the cover when greater depth is required than the standard adjustment can provide.
A Light Ivory RAL 1015 extension to match the cover
This version is available in Light Ivory RAL 1015, a shade particularly well suited to light stone façades, beige or sand-coloured render, cream walls and outdoor settings featuring natural tones.
The aim is also aesthetic: to increase the depth of the cover without creating a break in colour between its structure and the new fixing components. The +40 cm Light Ivory aluminium depth rails can be installed on all our Light Ivory DECOClim aluminium covers, regardless of size. For example, they are compatible with our Light Ivory S air conditioner cover.
