Creating a more cohesive look for a vertical installation

When an outdoor unit is particularly tall or several units are installed one above the other, the installation can quickly create a sense of visual clutter on the façade. The aim is then not simply to conceal it, but to give the whole installation a more uniform appearance.

The DECOClim XS Light Ivory stacked double air conditioner cover brings this vertical configuration together within one consistent cover. The regular lines of the cover replace the technical appearance of the equipment with a more cohesive overall look, which is particularly useful when the installation remains highly visible from a terrace or outdoor living area.

Light Ivory (RAL 1015) to reduce contrast with the building

Against a light stone façade, beige or sand-coloured render, or a cream wall, pure white can sometimes create more contrast than desired. Light Ivory (RAL 1015) offers a warmer shade that naturally complements these surroundings.

It is particularly well suited to traditional façades, Mediterranean architecture and outdoor settings featuring mineral materials such as stone or travertine.

On a cover that occupies a significant amount of height, this continuity of colour becomes particularly valuable, helping to reduce the contrast between the cover and the surface against which it is installed.

One continuous volume rather than two separate spaces

The stacked double configuration has one important feature: the two XS elements are assembled with no intermediate panel. The interior of the cover is therefore not divided into two compartments.

This design allows the full available height to be used as one continuous internal volume. It can therefore accommodate either particularly tall equipment or several units installed vertically, provided their dimensions are compatible with the model.

The XS format also keeps the overall width compact when the installation does not require a wider cover.

Additional protection for an exposed installation

A vertical installation positioned against a façade or near a terrace remains exposed to weather, splashes and minor everyday impacts. The cover provides additional protection around the equipment while concealing its technical appearance.

Checking the required volume and clearances before installation

The choice of a stacked double model should always be based on the actual dimensions of the installation. The width, height and depth must allow sufficient space to be maintained around the equipment.

The DECOClim front panel and sides feature louvered slats that help promote air circulation, while a rear offset of at least 7 cm helps maintain the necessary clearance.
