Increase the cover depth without changing size
An installation may require greater depth even though the selected cover size is already perfectly suited in terms of width and height. This is particularly the case when the outdoor unit is especially deep or when its configuration requires more space between the wall and the front of the cover.
The DECOClim +40 cm Anthracite depth rails allow this specific dimension to be adjusted without changing the entire configuration. They extend the structure of the cover to provide greater depth while retaining the size suited to the other dimensions of the equipment.
This solution therefore allows the depth to be adjusted specifically when the cover is already suitable in terms of width and height.
From the standard +15 cm adjustment to an extension of up to +40 cm
DECOClim aluminium covers are supplied as standard with depth rails that allow their depth to be increased by up to +15 cm. For installations requiring greater depth, these parts can be replaced with the +40 cm depth rails.
The two systems are not combined: the original +15 cm depth rails must be removed before installing the new +40 cm depth rails.
Each component measures 60 cm in total length. The 40 cm correspond to the available depth extension, while the remaining 20 cm are used to secure the depth rail to the structure of the cover.
Switching from the standard +15 cm system to the +40 cm model therefore provides up to 25 cm of additional depth. Depending on the size of the cover, certain configurations can exceed 1.20 m in total depth.
A reinforced design for a greater depth extension
As the depth of the cover increases, the rigidity of the components extending its structure becomes particularly important.
The +40 cm depth rails are made from 2 mm thick aluminium. Their fixing area is reinforced and a reinforcement plate is integrated around the two bolting points.
This design helps strengthen the assembly and limit the risk of twisting when the depth rails are used beyond the depth provided by the standard adjustment. Like the rest of the DECOClim structure, they are designed for long-term outdoor installation.
Anthracite RAL 7016 for a visually consistent structure
The depth rails are available in Anthracite RAL 7016 so that the finish of the cover continues through to its fixing components. This colour is particularly well suited to outdoor spaces featuring dark window frames, metal railings, pergolas, gates or other anthracite elements.
The +40 cm Anthracite aluminium depth rails can be installed on all our Anthracite DECOClim aluminium covers, regardless of size. For example, they can be used with our Anthracite S air conditioner cover.
