An XS configuration for two outdoor units positioned side by side

Do you have two small outdoor units installed next to each other and want to cover them without changing their layout or choosing unnecessarily large covers? The DECOClim XS Anthracite side-by-side double air conditioner cover is designed precisely for this configuration.

The model consists of two complete and independent XS covers, each designed for its own outdoor unit. The two units therefore remain separate, unlike the stacked double configuration, which has no intermediate panel.

This solution is particularly suited to installations with enough width to keep both units side by side, for example along a façade or on a large terrace.

Maintaining the proper operation of each unit

Small outdoor units need just as much room to operate correctly as larger equipment. Each cover must therefore maintain sufficient space around the outdoor unit so that its operation is not restricted.

DECOClim front panels and sides feature louvered slats that help promote air circulation. A rear offset of at least 7 cm also helps maintain the clearance required around the equipment.

With this side-by-side configuration, each outdoor unit has its own internal space. It is therefore essential to check the dimensions of each unit separately before choosing the XS model.

Adding protection around two exposed outdoor units

Installed outdoors all year round, the units may be exposed to weather, splashes and minor everyday impacts. Adding two covers provides additional protection around each unit without enclosing it.

DECOClim models are made from 100% powder-coated aluminium, a material designed for long-lasting outdoor use. This construction combines resistance to outdoor conditions with the ability to maintain the appearance of the cover over time.

Anthracite (RAL 7016) for outdoor spaces with dark architectural elements

Anthracite (RAL 7016) is particularly well suited to installations positioned near dark window frames, metal railings, pergolas, gates or other anthracite features.

Against a light-coloured façade, it echoes these darker lines and helps integrate both covers into a cohesive architectural design. Against a grey or darker wall, the contrast is reduced, allowing the equipment to appear more discreet.

The two technical outdoor units are therefore visually replaced by two identical, aligned covers, creating a more consistent appearance across the full width of the installation.

Checking the dimensions before installing both covers

A side-by-side double configuration requires you to consider not only the dimensions of each outdoor unit, but also the available space for positioning both covers next to each other while maintaining the necessary clearances.
