Adapt the cover depth to a more demanding installation
Not all outdoor units have the same dimensions, and some installations require more space between the wall and the front of the cover. A particularly deep outdoor unit, the constraints of an existing installation or the clearances that need to be maintained around the equipment may make the standard depth rails insufficient.
The DECOClim +40 cm aluminium depth rails allow you to increase the depth of your cover without unnecessarily changing its width or height. This fixing accessory for air conditioner covers therefore makes it possible to adapt the cover when the installation requires greater clearance.
Depending on the size of the cover concerned, this extension can be used for particularly deep configurations and, on certain models, can allow the total depth to exceed 1.20 m.
Increase the depth adjustment from +15 cm to +40 cm
DECOClim covers are supplied as standard with depth rails that already allow the depth to be adjusted by up to +15 cm. When this is not sufficient, the +40 cm depth rails replace the original parts.
The new rails are therefore not added to the existing ones: the standard +15 cm depth rails must be removed before installing the +40 cm models.
Each new depth rail measures 60 cm in total. Of this length, 40 cm correspond to the available depth extension, while the remaining 20 cm are used to secure the rail to the structure of the cover.
You therefore increase the maximum adjustment from +15 cm to +40 cm, providing up to 25 cm of additional depth compared with the standard configuration.
Reinforced aluminium depth rails for outdoor use
An extension of this length must retain suitable rigidity once the cover has been installed. These aluminium depth rails are therefore made from 2 mm thick aluminium and feature a reinforced fixing area.
A reinforcement plate is also integrated around the two bolting points. This helps strengthen the assembly and limit the risk of the depth rail twisting.
These features provide a fixing component designed for long-term outdoor installation, exposed to the same weather conditions as the rest of the DECOClim cover.
A White RAL 9010 finish to match your DECOClim cover
This version of the +40 cm depth rails is available in White RAL 9010 to maintain a consistent finish with the corresponding cover. The extension components therefore integrate into the structure without creating a break in colour across the overall cover.
The +40 cm White RAL 9010 aluminium depth rails are compatible with all our White DECOClim aluminium covers, regardless of size. For example, they can be installed on our White S air conditioner cover.
