How many air conditioners or heat pumps do you install per year?
We average about a hundred installations per year (123 for the year 2023), mainly models from the Daikin brand, which translates to approximately 2 to 3 installations per week.
What are the advantages of DECOCLIM for the installer?
DECOCLIM products have several advantages for us installers. They offer an aesthetic solution to conceal outdoor air conditioning units, allowing us to enhance the visual appearance of installations. They are also very easy to install and maintain, enabling us to provide our customers with efficient service and longer motor life.
Some people still question the respect of air flow with the installation of a DECOCLIM, what is your opinion on this?
Our experience has shown that DECOCLIM does not obstruct air circulation around air conditioning units. We have found that air recycling is very light and does not impact machine operation. We ensure that DECOCLIM is installed in a way that ensures optimal ventilation and preserves the performance of air conditioning systems.
Why and how do you offer DECOCLIM to your customers?
When a customer shows interest in the aesthetic aspect, we offer DECOCLIM directly in our quote. Our approach is to offer solutions that others do not offer, and our goal is to meet the needs of customers.
DECOCLIM is much more well-known today than a few years ago, and it is not uncommon for demand to come from the customer before we even suggest the solution.
We also work very regularly with property syndicates that require the concealment of outdoor air conditioning units. For example, in one residence, we installed a dozen wooden DECOCLIMs.
Air conditioning is very common in our region, and our customers often want to ensure that these installations are not visible, especially if they are near churches or other historic buildings, as they must comply with municipal specifications.
Can you explain what the issue was with this installation?
Following a recent hailstorm, the heat exchangers on the motors were damaged and needed to be replaced. To prevent similar future incidents, the customer expressed the need to protect their outdoor units.
In this regard, we recommended the installation of 3 DECOCLIMs, a solution that offers both aesthetic camouflage and protection against the weather.
It turns out that opting to install DECOCLIM is much easier and less risky than having to replace the entire system again in case of motor damage.
Here, the installation of these DECOCLIMs proved to be an ideal solution. It protects against the weather and ensures customer satisfaction.
